Lighthouse tours
A boat ride across the inlet, the station grounds, and the climb to the top.
How a tour works
- Become a member
Join online ahead of time, or at the dock on the day. Without a membership the boat ride is a $35 per person transportation fee. - Check in at the dock
Arrive 30 minutes before your boat. Volunteers check you in, give you a wristband and help you aboard. - Tour and climb
Walk the grounds and climb the lighthouse. Boats return from the lighthouse dock about 30 minutes after each sail time.
We don’t take seat reservations. Seating is first come, first served, and boats can fill up quickly in peak season.
While you’re visiting, stop by the HLPS Museum and its gift shop at Roy L. Rogers Family Park. It’s open on tour days from 10 am to 3 pm, and admission is free.

From I-95 or US-1, drive east on Atlantic Blvd and turn north on Riverside Drive. The dock is ¼ block north on the west side of the road; city (pay) parking is ¼ block further, across the street.
Check-in opens 30 minutes before the first sail time and stays open until the last boat.
